Planet Adventure 24-Hour Challenge Registration Open!

“The Ultimate Test of Endurance, Teamwork, & Skill” Indiana’s Original and Premier Adventure Race!PA Logo

The Elk Ridge Ranch, tucked in the middle of the Hoosier National Forest will be this years host site for the 2009 Planet Adventure 24 Hour. The later date and unique property makes possible exciting new elements for 2009. All teams will be required to camp on site Friday night. There will be new disciplines and extensive rope sections. A pre race social and post race festive party creating a more intimate atmosphere.

In addition to the traditional 24 hour, we are introducing the “Old School” race. Re-inventing the feel, atmosphere and spirit of the earlier days of adventure racing is what the Old School race is all about. In 1989 when Gerald Fusil’s launched the Raid Gauloises, the first modern day adventure, Fusil envisioned an expanded expedition-style race in which competitors would rely on their own strength and abilities to traverse great and challenging terrain. Mother Nature and the environment was your true competitor. The Old school will be geared for teams that have done expedition races or have been thinking about one. Successful teams will have to work well together to stay efficient and over come adversity.
