Is Your Body In Balance?
Using the muscles in multi-joint movements to increase functional strength is a very effective way to keep the body in balance and ready to perform on race day. My name is Ann Kaminski and I work as a Fitness Specialist for the Fitness Clinic of Indianapolis. I specialize in a new trend of training called Functional Movement Patterns. The movement patterns I assess are specific to human growth and development and are extremely important in athletes because they are fundamental to complex activities. The screen attempts to pinpoint a weak area in these movements patterns, which will then allow for improved exercise prescription and performance. This can be the first line of defense in injury prevention. The objective is to create a program based from core strength, joint flexibility, and muscle imbalances. A collaboration between all these assessments will help improve overall functional movement.
To contact Ann Kaminski for an assessment, call the Fitness Clinic at (317) 450-7397. Your assessment of only $50 will include; the one hour assessment, detailed program for 6 weeks, and a follow up evaluation. The Fitness Clinic is also offering time slots for weight training classes for only $15 a class, groups of 6 or more. In your own private class, it will be specific to your sport and highly educational. Come and have a great workout and learn something in the process.
Good Luck to everyone in their training and be safe,
Ann Kaminski
